Sonne Seehotel sits right on the shore of Lake Sempach in the small village of Eich, about 15 minutes from Lucerne by car. The property has been here for over a century — first as a village inn, eventually becoming a full lakeside hotel after a complete renovation in 2009. Run by Erica and Stefan Fuchs under the Balance Familie group of Swiss hotels, it has 42 design rooms spread across three floors, all with private loggias and bold, colour-saturated interiors: orbital blue, gold, terracotta.
