A 16th-century Mallorcan finca reborn as Richard Branson's most personal hotel project. Son Bunyola sits on an 810-acre estate in the UNESCO-listed Tramuntana mountains, with three miles of private Mediterranean coastline, terraced olive groves, and vineyards. The hotel opened in June 2023 after nearly three decades of on-and-off ownership — Branson first bought it in 1994, sold it, then bought it back in 2015 — and the result is 27 rooms plus three standalone villas that feel genuinely rooted in Mallorcan heritage rather than parachuted in.
