Why It Matters
One of only 20 Design Hotels members in all of Indonesia, and the only one in this part of Lombok. Founded by Claire and Valia Gontard specifically to connect guests with authentic Indonesian culture rather than tourist-bubble comfort. Sustainability consultants Eco Mantra were embedded in the build from day one.
Twenty standalone villas carved into a steep hillside above Are Guling Bay, one of Lombok's best surf breaks. Each villa is its own private world: glass sliding doors, a green-stone plunge pool, and hand-crafted Indonesian furniture everywhere you look.
