Why It Matters
The first Soho House outside of central London, opened in the early 2000s when the Meatpacking District was still rough around the edges. Home to the very first Soho House rooftop pool. Two decades on, it's a bona fide downtown institution and one of the few hotels in NYC where a room booking unlocks genuine members'-club access.
The original New York outpost of the London-born members' club, set over six floors of a 1903 warehouse in the Meatpacking District. Hotel guests get full access to the club — rooftop pool, Cowshed spa, screening room, dining room, and the All Blues vinyl listening lounge — alongside a carefully vetted crowd drawn from arts, fashion, and entertainment. Rooms lean hard into the building's industrial bones: exposed beams, brick walls, rainforest showers. It's a package deal that's hard to replicate elsewhere in NYC.

The largest category in the house. Industrial features, a proper sofa seating area, and a freestanding bathtub. These are the rooms to book when you want to actually spread out.
KingBig Classic
Overlooks Ninth Avenue with a front-row seat on the Meatpacking District streetscape. Industrial details, a sofa seating area, and a freestanding bath. Room 4 is reportedly the best in the house.
KingCosy
Same footprint as the Cosy Classic but with exposed brick walls and wooden flooring. Small, honest, and true to the building's bones.
QueenCosy Classic
The entry-level room. Wood-paneled or exposed brick walls are a nod to the warehouse's industrial history. Small seating area included. Compact but characterful.
QueenCosy Plus
A step up from the Cosy rooms with a slightly more modern design. Located on the 2nd floor, so expect some street noise from the Meatpacking District.
QueenMedium
The sweet spot for most guests. Large windows, exposed wooden beams, armchairs, and a freestanding bathtub. The upper-floor Medium rooms on floors 3–5 are well-regarded.
KingMedium Classic
Same rustic warehouse character as the Medium — large windows, exposed beams — but with 100 extra sq ft and a freestanding bath. A solid upgrade.
KingMedium Plus
Spacious and quiet — these rooms are tucked into a low-traffic area of the House and have no external view. The freestanding bathtub is the main event. An accessible version without the tub is available.
KingSmall
Good natural light and city views make this feel more spacious than the square footage suggests. Second floor position means street noise is a real factor.
QueenSmall Classic
Wooden features throughout reference the building's history. Velvet armchairs and a bath make it feel richer than the footprint implies.

A private 44-seat cinema on the 4th floor with velvet seats and footstools. Screens member events, film releases, and family-friendly movies on Saturdays and Sundays. Available for private hire.
A New York-based vinyl listening lounge on the rooftop, inspired by Japanese jazz kissa bars. Analog music programming, cocktails, and Asian-fusion bites. Members only.
The Vinyl Room hosts regular DJ sessions, private dinners, and live performances. Laptops allowed 11am–6pm; phone/video calls permitted with headphones on. Can accommodate up to 100 guests for larger events.
