Why It Matters
Awarded a Michelin One Key in 2024, it's the biggest Soho House in the Americas and the only Nashville property permanently exhibiting a curated collection of local contemporary art at this scale. Three performance stages mean surprise sets by country and Americana artists are a genuine possibility, not a marketing line.
Set inside the historic May Hosiery Mills building in Nashville's Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood, Soho House Nashville opened in February 2022 as the largest Soho House in North America. The former sock factory — yes, it once made socks for NASA astronauts — now houses 47 bedrooms, three live performance stages, an outdoor pool, a 60-seat screening room, and roughly 170 pieces of contemporary art by 41 local Tennessee artists. Non-members can book a room and gain full access to all club spaces for the duration of their stay.

Generous rooms with lots of natural light and full industrial-chic finishes: exposed wooden ceilings, leather headboards, freestanding bathtubs. Corner positioning on many means double the windows and sweeping city views — some overlook the AT&T 'Batman Building' and the oversized guitar sculpture outside.

The largest room in the House, split over two levels. A spacious lounge on the lower floor and a secluded sleeping area with a bathtub upstairs. Natural light and Nashville views throughout.

The smallest rooms in the House, compact but characterful. Exposed brick walls nod directly to the building's factory past. Ideal for two people who plan to spend most of their time in the club spaces.
KingLarge
Spacious rooms with original industrial features and standout teal headboards — their color is a direct reference to the verdigris patina of the building's original copper door. One of the stronger design statements in the property.

Accessible version of the Large rooms, with wooden flooring, a sofa, and copper-colored design accents echoing the House's original copper door.

170 works across 41 Tennessee-born, based, or trained artists, making it one of the most significant permanent contemporary art spaces in Nashville. Works span textile installations, photography, painting, embroidery, and mixed media. Curated by Soho House's Global Director of Art.
The House runs a daily calendar of member events ranging from experimental meditations to panel discussions, fitness sessions, and cultural programming. Bookable through the Soho House app.
A games area within the club includes a pool table, available to members and hotel guests.
A heated outdoor pool with sunbeds, day beds, and cabanas. Currently the second largest pool in the Soho House global portfolio. Pool access runs 8am–8pm. Loungers are first-come, first-served — book via the app.
The Sock Room is the House's flagship indoor/outdoor performance venue with two stages and two private green rooms. Named after the building's manufacturing past, it hosts member events, ticketed concerts, and regular sets by local and touring artists. Country stars have been known to stop by unannounced.
A 60-seat cinema with state-of-the-art video and sound. Shows films and hosts screenings and events for members and hotel guests.
An outdoor performance area within the garden, centered around a 150-year-old elm tree. Hosts surprise sets and member events in warmer months.
Located on the ground floor, the Soho Home Studio offers a curated selection of homewares, a full material and swatch library, and dedicated trade and interior design consultations.
