La Sagesse
Barefoot luxury with serious eco-credentials. The design draws from traditional Caribbean fishing village architecture — low-slung structures, natural and repurposed materials, open-plan indoor-outdoor spaces. Serious wellness programming without the new-age cheese: this is biohacking and sound baths alongside waterfall hikes and rum distillery tours.
The Panorama Ocean View Pool Suite sits at a clifftop perch far from the resort center — superior views and more privacy than the garden or bay view suites at the same sq footage (55 sqm).
Why It Matters
First Six Senses in the Americas. Every room has a private plunge pool. The setting — between two distinct bodies of water on a 38-acre headland — delivers something genuinely unusual for the Caribbean. The underwater sculpture park in La Sagesse Bay (coral polyps have colonized the works) is a one-of-a-kind dive site right on the doorstep.
Six Senses La Sagesse is the brand's first property in the Americas, and they picked their spot well. The 38-acre resort sits on a headland on Grenada's quiet southeastern coast, with dramatic cliffs and open Caribbean Sea on one side and La Sagesse Bay's calm sandy shallows on the other. Every one of the 71 accommodations (56 pool suites, 15 villas) has a private pool. Opened in April 2024, it's already stacking up awards — Condé Nast Hot List 2025, Caribbean Travel Awards New Caribbean Hotel of the Year 2025.
