Opened in May 2023 on the western shore of Lake Balaton, Sirius Hotel is Keszthely's newest four-star-superior property and the only hotel in town recognized by the Michelin Guide. It's a resort-scale place — 128 rooms, a 1,500m² spa with 10 saunas and 7 pools — but the design keeps things warmer than your average wellness factory. Think contemporary lake-house aesthetics, blues and natural tones, and a sauna house with panoramic Balaton views that guests consistently call the highlight. The lake-facing rooms are genuinely worth the upgrade; both sides get terraces, but the LakeSide view is a different experience entirely.

23–24m² with a balcony facing Lake Balaton. Same specification as the ParkSide but the view changes everything — sunrises here are the real deal. Michelin specifically recommends booking this side. One of the top-tier suites. The hotel has nine suites ranging from 48m² up to 128m² — the Orion is among the larger configurations. Positioned for lake views. Full luxury specification including the standard bathrobes, Smart TV, minibar and safe.

The entry-level room faces the car park rather than the lake. At 23m² it's a fair size, with a private terrace, full bathroom with tub/shower, smart LED TV, minibar, in-room safe, kettle, hairdryer, and bathrobes. Soundproofed walls and adjustable air conditioning. Not the view you came for, but a solid, well-finished room at the lower price point.
