Why It Matters
Formerly the legendary Hotel Omm, Sir Victor is the Barcelona outpost of the Amsterdam-born Sir Hotels collection. It's also a member of Design Hotels. The building itself is architecturally notable, the rooftop pool is one of the better urban pool experiences in Barcelona, and MR PORTER brings a high-end international steakhouse concept to the ground floor.
Sir Victor occupies a striking modernist building just off Passeig de Gràcia, with a limestone façade of curving panels designed by architect Juli Capella — they're meant to evoke the turning pages of a book, a nod to the hotel's namesake, Catalan writer Víctor Català (pen name of Caterina Albert i Paradís). Inside, rubber-lined corridors keep things genuinely quiet despite the central location, and the 91 rooms lean into natural materials, local art, and warm textures designed by Baranowitz + Kronenberg. The rooftop pool looks directly out at the Sagrada Família and Casa Milà, and that view alone is worth talking about.

The top suite experience for Passeig de Gràcia watchers. At 65 sqm, the space flows from bedroom to a separate lounge to a reading nook with boulevard views. Two independent entries add a sense of privacy and arrival.

At 85 sqm, this is the largest room in the hotel and sleeps up to six. Combines a Sir Grand and a Sir Petit into one interconnected unit, each with their own bathrooms and interior garden views. Good option for families or two couples traveling together.
