This is the lovingly revived 1928 New Redmond Hotel, a four-story downtown landmark that SCP gutted and redesigned with warm woods, earth tones, and a genuinely eco-first sensibility. It's not a spa resort; there's no pool. But there are 48 rooms with plant-based foam mattresses, four distinct food and drink venues (including a rooftop bar with Cascade Range panoramas), a fitness studio, a meditation room, yoga partnerships, and coworking next door. The largest footprint in the hotel at 500 sq ft, sleeping up to six. Best for families or groups who want a shared space without booking multiple rooms. Has multiple sleep areas and enough room to spread out.

SCP's signature offering and the most distinctive room in the building. Intentionally stripped of blue-light sources — no TV, no clock, no radio. Instead: a yoga mat, meditation pillow, essential oil diffuser, and a pullout sofa. Designed around the idea of genuine rest. If you've been staring at screens, this is the antidote.
KingPremium King Room
At 400 sq ft, this is the room to book if you want real comfort. Features a large seating area with a sofa bed, a dedicated desk, and enough space to actually feel relaxed. Sleeps up to four.
KingStandard Queen Room
The smallest rooms in the building, ranging from 180 to 275 sq ft. Cozy layouts guided by the heritage architectural details of the original 1928 hotel — each one slightly different. Good for solo travelers or couples who are mostly going to be out exploring. Don't expect much floor space.

Smith Rock State Park is approximately 15 minutes by car — world-class sport climbing, hiking, and canyon scenery. The hotel actively promotes it as a gateway to the park.
