Sataa Resort Nan is a newly opened (2025) contemporary resort on former rice paddy land in northern Thailand's Nan river valley. Designed by Studio MITI under the 'Neo Local' philosophy, the buildings use locally sourced teak that slowly darkens over time to blend into the surrounding teak forest. It's a slow-travel proposition: a salt-water pool, private in-room hot tubs, and rice terrace views, all within 10 minutes of Nan's most revered temple.
