Why It Matters
Relaunched in February 2025 as a fully independent property managed by Springboard Hospitality and part of the Curator Hotel & Resort Collection. The hotel blends its original 1960s structure with a serious design overhaul — Le Labo bath products, Revival linens, Apple TV, and a legitimate restaurant in High Moon that locals actually eat at.
A 66-room mid-century boutique hotel sitting at the south end of downtown Palm Springs, right where Palm Canyon Drive starts giving way to the San Jacinto foothills. The place relaunched in early 2025 under Suncroft Capital and Springboard Hospitality — same bones, completely reimagined. Walk into the lobby and it feels like a well-traveled friend's apartment: clean lines, organic forms, desert modernism colliding with Japanese minimalism and flashes of Old Hollywood glamour. The pool is the social center, High Moon restaurant draws locals as much as guests, and the whole vibe skews curious and laid-back rather than flashy.
