The Casino Bad Zwischenahn is located directly in the hotel building. Hotel guests get free entry — a genuine and unusual perk. Open evenings.
City bikes available for free; e-bikes at a surcharge. The flat Ammerland countryside is ideal cycling terrain, with marked routes through moors, nature reserves, and tree-lined avenues. Detailed route maps available via Ammerland Touristik.
On-site putting green. Hotel guests receive a 25% greenfee discount at the nearby Golfclub am Meer (18-hole course, approximately 3 km away). The hotel also caters specifically to golf holiday packages.
The hotel grounds have romantic forest paths through old oaks, meadows, and lake-facing stretches. The wider Ammerland also has several nature reserves and wildlife areas within easy reach.
The hotel runs its own vegetable and herb garden, greenhouse, free-range chicken coop, a potato field (guests can join the harvest), and one of only two vineyards in the Ammerland. Connects directly to the farm-to-table kitchen program.
A small but well-maintained minigolf course and bocce area are on the hotel grounds. Good for families or a relaxed afternoon.
