Why It Matters
Michelin Key 2025 holder. One of only 8 rooms — the whole place never exceeds 16 guests. The design concept (Scandinavian restraint applied to a traditional riad) is unique in Marrakech. Kitchen staff trained by the co-founder of Noma. Regularly hosts artist residencies. Riad was restored from near-ruin starting 2019 entirely with local craftspeople.
Riad No. 37 is one of the most distinctive small hotels in the Marrakech medina — not because it shouts, but because it doesn't. The facade is anonymous. Step through the heavy wooden door, though, and you land in a world of cool tadelakt plaster, handmade details, and a Scandi-meets-Moroccan design sensibility that somehow feels entirely at home. Eight rooms, maximum 16 guests, adults only. The two courtyards and rooftop terrace give guests room to breathe. The kitchen team, trained by the Um Mami culinary center founded by Noma co-founder Claus Meyer, turns out a New Moroccan cuisine that's genuinely special. Breakfast is always included.

How you'll actually spend your days.
Riad No. 37 regularly hosts residencies for artists and creatives as part of its mission to be more than just a hotel. Would-be residents should contact the hotel directly.
All eight rooms can be booked together for exclusive use. The kitchen team will design a bespoke menu for the event and guests have the entire rooftop terrace to themselves.
The concierge team can organize guided tours of the Medina, souks, and Marrakech's major sights including Jardin Majorelle, Bahia Palace, and the Dar El Bacha museum — steps from the front door.
Staff can recommend and book hammam experiences at local bathhouses in the Medina.
