Rhode's Motor Lodge is the second act of a 1950s Boone roadside motel — formerly Greene's Motel — completely gutted and reimagined by Raleigh-based Loden Hospitality and opened in October 2023. All 54 rooms face south toward rolling Blue Ridge Mountain views, and the whole place leans hard into mid-century modern without feeling like a theme park: original starshine breeze blocks were uncovered during renovation, tree trunk nightstands, tent-light pendant fixtures, and branded Coleman coolers give rooms a cabin-camp feel that actually works. MICHELIN-certified and covered in Garden & Gun and Travel + Leisure, it's the rare property where the on-site restaurant is genuinely worth planning around.

Designed for families or groups of three to four. A king bed plus an extra twin daybed. Same 340 sq ft footprint as the Double Queen, with all the standard custom furnishings and in-room tech.

Ground-floor drive-up room in classic motor lodge style — park right outside your door. The smallest category on property, but well-appointed with the same custom furnishings as the rest: tree trunk nightstand, tent-light pendant, branded Coleman cooler. Good for solo travelers or couples who want easy load-in.
KingQueen with Daybed
Sleeps three — the twin daybed doubles as a sofa when not needed as a bed. Flexible option for smaller families or groups who want a bit of extra space to spread out.
