Hotel, Palazzo Touring Club Milan
Industrial-chic meets historic Milanese elegance. Think polished stone floors, vintage travel maps and suitcases as decor, and a calm, design-forward atmosphere. Not loud or flashy — this place is quiet confidence.
Request a courtyard-facing room if you want quiet — Corso Italia has trams that run through the night.
Why It Matters
The building itself is the story. It was the HQ of the Touring Club Italiano — the organization that mapped modern Italy for travelers — from 1894, built between 1914 and 1915 by architect Binda. The historic library and travel agency are still intact inside the hotel. Studio Marco Piva's renovation preserved all of that and layered in a contemporary luxury hotel on top. It's the first Radisson Collection property in Milan.
A historic early 20th-century palazzo on Corso Italia — formerly the headquarters of the Touring Club Italiano, the Italian travel organization founded in 1894 — converted by Studio Marco Piva into a 5-star hotel in 2021. The building retains its original library and travel agency, and the interiors lean industrial-chic: earthy browns, grays, and reds, with marble bathrooms and warm lighting. Five minutes on foot to the Duomo.
