Why It Matters
One of Palma's original design-hotel pioneers, now over 20 years old. The La Lonja location puts you 400 metres from the Cathedral and walking distance to the harbor. PuroHotel Palma — officially rebranded as Puro Hotel Oasis Urbano — sits in a converted 17th/18th-century palace right in La Lonja, Palma's historic old quarter. It's a 4-star boutique with around 49-51 rooms, all individually designed. The hotel pitches itself hard at an urban, design-forward crowd: Nordic minimalism meets Ibizan whites, Kentia palms, and a rooftop Beatnik bar where resident DJs play Deep House on weekends. The hotel's lounges, indoor patios, and terrace spaces rotate contemporary art exhibitions. The hotel has an ongoing collaboration with Lundgren Gallery and regularly hosts La Nit de l'Art events. A genuine gallery presence, not just decorative art.
Live music performances are scheduled on weekends at the Beatnik rooftop, in addition to the DJ sessions.
Puro's resident DJs — who also produce for the Puro Music record label — play Deep House and Soulful sets on the rooftop terrace every weekend. The Beatnik bar turns into a proper evening scene on Friday and Saturday nights.
Guests can complete registration online before arrival, enabling a fast-track check-in at a dedicated counter on arrival.
Puro Hotel is the only urban hotel in Palma with access to two beach clubs: Purobeach Palma and Purobeach Illetas. Free shuttle from hotel reception gets you there. Direct-booking guests get a complimentary day pass to Purobeach Palma (minimum consumption applies). Sunbeds must be reserved in advance and carry a surcharge.
