Predi Son Jaumell
Rustic-luxury agrotourism. Blond-wood furniture, white walls, natural linens, exposed wooden beams and vaulted stone ceilings in some rooms. The vibe is calm, adult, and genuinely rural — birdsong, not nightlife.
Book Sa Caseta if you want total privacy — it's a standalone cottage in an oak grove, completely separate from the main building
Why It Matters
A declared historic heritage building that has been thoughtfully converted without gutting the soul of the estate. Working vineyards produce Giró and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes; the hotel runs annual grape-harvesting and olive-picking activities for guests. Strong sustainability credentials — 100% biomass heating, plastic-free amenities since before it was fashionable.
A centuries-old Mallorcan finca turned 24-suite boutique hotel, Predi Son Jaumell sits on the east coast of the island — about as far from Palma's tourist bustle as you can get. The building (14th-century, declared a Mallorcan historic heritage site) is dressed in rough-hewn limestone with sky-blue shutters, and the interiors pull off the tricky modern-meets-ancient contrast with real conviction. It's agricultural land first and hotel second: there are working vineyards, an olive grove, and a kitchen garden that feeds the on-site restaurant.

On Property
How you'll actually spend your days.
The hotel has bikes available to explore the surrounding countryside. Trails wind through Capdepera village (19-minute walk from the property), along the coast, and past nearby coves. Mallorca is serious cycling territory.
The hotel has preferred agreements with golf courses in the area. Mallorca has over 20 courses designed by renowned professionals, all within a short drive of the property. The concierge can arrange tee times.
Seasonal activity during the autumn grape harvest. The hotel's 2-hectare vineyard produces 6,000 kg of Giró and 7,000 kg of Cabernet Sauvignon annually. Guests can participate in hands-on grape picking with the family and wine tastings.
Seasonal olive-picking experience using traditional Mallorcan production techniques. The hotel produces its own olive oil from the on-site grove.
Outdoor yoga sessions led by expert instructors who customize each class to the guest's level. Classes held in the hotel's gardens or dedicated indoor spaces. Both gentle and dynamic sessions available.
Guided art and art therapy sessions led by Mel Saulek, artist and art therapist. A creative pause set within the estate's natural surroundings — designed as a slow, reflective experience rather than a craft class.
Outdoor pool open 09:00–21:00. Heated during shoulder season (opening and closing months). Flanked by cushioned loungers under umbrellas and Balinese beds. Valley views from the pool deck.
