A restored 18th-century Pombaline building right on the corner of Rua Augusta and Rua do Comércio — literally attached to the triumphal arch that opens onto Praça do Comércio. Opened in summer 2023, the hotel's most talked-about feature is its lobby: where you'd normally find a reception desk, there's a mirrored bar clad in a stunning blue-and-white tile mural by late Portuguese artist Eduardo Nery. Rooms are compact by modern standards but fully soundproofed, decorated in botanical-themed wallpaper, and nearly all have balconies over the historic streets below.
