Built in 1932 by Michel Perrin and designed by Italian architect Louis Rossi, this four-star Art Deco hotel has been in the same family for nearly a century. Geometric shapes, floral ornaments, marble and wrought iron are all original — and nobody has renovated them into oblivion. The 51 rooms sit in the Gare district, a short walk from Luxembourg's central station, which puts the entire compact city within easy reach by tram or on foot.
