Panfilo Farmhouse is a family-run agriturismo on the Abruzzo hills, perched between the Adriatic coast and the Gran Sasso massif. Retired dairy farmers Annamaria and Lino converted their family farm into a B&B — and the result is genuinely warm, unpretentious, and quietly beautiful. Stone walls, timber beams, a saltwater infinity pool with rolling hill views, and Annamaria's legendary daily breakfasts. It sleeps a maximum of 12 guests across five rooms and suites, which keeps the whole thing feeling personal.

Best pick for a couple travelling with an infant — a baby cot is available on request. Same layout and quality as the other double rooms, with private en-suite, garden entrance, and full-size mirror. Antique desk adds character.
QueenPiomba Suite
The couples' suite — a step up from the double rooms with a private kitchen and fireplace. Ideal for a longer stay or anyone who wants the option of self-catering. Entrance directly from the garden. The hot tub can be added as an extra. Child cot available.
QueenSalice Room
The most romantic of the three double rooms. Designed to feel intimate and charming — antique desk, full-size mirror, garden-level private entrance. Ideal for two people who want simplicity and quiet.

Ulivo Room
Rustic and chic — natural colours, earthy textures, a wood desk. The vibe is calm and grounding. Private en-suite bathroom, walk-in shower, and access to the shared BBQ area.
QueenVulcanello Suite
The biggest option on the property — two double bedrooms, two private bathrooms, a full kitchen, living area, and a private garden with sun loungers and outdoor table. Designed for four people: two couples, a family, or a small group of friends. Hot tub is bookable as an add-on.

An outdoor BBQ spot and fire pit under the stars, available for guest use. Vegetables from Annamaria's kitchen garden are available on request for grilling.
The extensive gardens and surrounding countryside are open for walking. The property has hammocks and garden seating throughout. Hosts provide a custom guest guide to local natural treasures, restaurants, and towns.
Meet the farm's resident chickens, ducks, goats, and occasional visiting shepherd's flock. Lino takes children on tractor rides to feed the animals. A local shepherd walks his flock through the farm regularly.
An outdoor hot tub experience available at extra charge. The clear Abruzzo skies make for excellent stargazing. Popular for couples.
Hands-on cooking classes taught by Annamaria, a trained cook with agriturismo experience. Classes focus on fresh pasta, ravioli, and traditional Abruzzese dishes using farm-grown produce. Book in advance via the dedicated experience site.
A saltwater infinity pool looking out over rolling Abruzzo hills. Salt water is gentler on skin than chlorine. Includes a shallow beach-style entry area suitable for children. Open 1 May through end of October. Shared with all guests, maximum 12 people total on property.
