Why It Matters
One of the few places in Rome where you can sleep inside a real 15th-century nobleman's palace steps from the Trevi Fountain. The building dates to before Columbus sailed to America, spent decades as the National Museum of Pasta Foods, and has been lovingly restored with original architectural details intact. The Ambassador Suite's three-floor layout — complete with a private Wellness Turret housing a hammam and Technogym bike — is genuinely one-of-a-kind.
A 15th-century palazzo two minutes' walk from the Trevi Fountain that Albanian national hero Skanderbeg used as his Roman residence in 1466 — and which most recently served as a pasta museum before reopening as a luxury boutique stay. Just 11 rooms, seven of them suites, spread across a building that pairs original vaulted ceilings and salvaged Venetian briccole wood floors with modern comforts. No restaurant, no pool, no gym (unless you're in the Ambassador Suite). What it does have is butler service, a curated menu of private experiences, and a location that puts the Pantheon, Quirinal Palace, and Spanish Steps within 10 minutes' walk.

Annex Suite
A 120 sqm apartment-style flat spread over two floors with an independent entrance overlooking Piazza Scanderbeg. The most private option at the palazzo — no shared lobby access, fully self-contained. Mid-century decor with Venetian-wood floors, orange-leather furnishings, and white walls. Ground-floor kitchen and living area, upstairs living area, king-size bed plus sofa bed. Two bathrooms: one with a walk-in shower, one with a bathtub and over-bath shower. Panier des Sens natural bath products.
King + sofa bed · 120 sqm
Classic Room
The entry-level option: a refined double bedroom where 15th-century Renaissance architecture meets clean, modern Italian design. Venetian wood floors salvaged from original briccole (dock posts), white walls, and CO Bigelow bath products. No kitchen, no terrace. Continental breakfast served in the Morning Room downstairs. One Classic room is accessible for guests with mobility needs.
Deluxe Suite
Large apartment-style suites ranging from 70–106 sqm, decorated in a palette of brown, navy blue and white. Venetian-wood floors, exposed wooden beams, views of Scanderbeg Square. Each suite has a bedroom with king-size bed and a living area with sofa bed, a dining area, and a fully-equipped kitchen (hob, microwave, dishwasher). Some suites have two bedrooms. Bathroom options vary: one suite has a hammam shower, the other a rainfall shower. Sleeps up to four guests.

The flagship at 166 sqm spread across three floors. One king bedroom with ensuite and views over Scanderbeg Square, one queen bedroom with ensuite, plus a living room with double sofa bed and its own bathroom, and a dining room with fully equipped kitchen. The real differentiator is the private Wellness Turret on the top floor: a hammam shower and a Technogym exercise bike, with an on-call personal trainer available. Private terrace with views over Roman rooftops. If you need a gym and a hammam without leaving your suite, this is the only room that delivers it.
King + Queen + sofa double bed · 166 sqmThe Scanderbeg Suite
Named after the palazzo's 15th-century founder, this top-floor (4th floor) suite is the most atmospheric room in the house. Original high white wooden vaults — genuinely 15th century — dominate the living space. Private roof terrace with views over Roman rooftops. Two bedrooms (king-size bed, one convertible to twin), both with ensuite bathrooms featuring rainfall showers. Butler delivers breakfast each morning. CO Bigelow bath products.
