Why It Matters
Seed Library — the basement bar from Mr Lyan (Ryan Chetiyawardana) — is what puts this place on the map. He changed London's bar scene with zero-waste cocktails back in 2013, and Seed Library carries that ethos. The rooftop Kaso is a genuinely good night out. This is one of the few hotels where the drinking and dining scene would exist even without the rooms above it.
One Hundred Shoreditch is a 258-room independent hotel sitting right on Shoreditch High Street, owned and operated by Lore Group — the same crew behind Pulitzer Amsterdam and Sea Containers London. The building was previously the Ace Hotel Shoreditch, and it still carries that same socially-driven DNA: the food and drink operation is the real draw, with a basement cocktail bar by Mr Lyan (Seed Library) and a rooftop kitchen and bar (Kaso) that East Londoners actually use, not just hotel guests.

Two interconnecting Studio rooms sleeping up to four. The design-led connecting rooms are ideal for groups who want their own space but also want to stay together. Great for a friends' weekend.

A Studio Extra interconnecting with a Studio Double Double — sleeping up to six. This is the group stay option, with the hotel's design-led touches throughout both rooms.
Studio
The core room category. Hybrid work and dining space, seating for two, same bespoke Jacu Strauss art and tapestry wall as the Pad but with more breathing room. Good for overnights and a standard London weekend.
Studio Double Double
Two double beds, same clean Jacu Strauss aesthetic. The obvious pick for two friends sharing, or for anyone who just wants maximum bed real estate when they're back after a late Shoreditch night.
Two Double BedsStudio Extra
The largest standard studio. Comfy sofas, a great bed, and a proper hybrid work and dining space. Worth it if you're planning to actually use the room as a base rather than just a crash pad.
Studio Loft
These are the bright ones. Feature oriel windows or large windows with Juliette balconies flood the room with natural light. Good comfy seating, dreamy beds, and that particular East London pad feeling.
Studio Pad
The most compact option in the house. At 160 sqft it's honest about what it is — a great bed, bespoke Jacu Strauss artwork, a tapestry feature wall, and everything you need without the space to waste. Works well for solo travellers or one-nighters who are mostly out.

Extra lounging space is the upgrade here — wall-to-wall sofas and a wooden dining table make this the better call if you're staying more than a couple of nights and want somewhere to properly spread out.
Studio Suite North
The biggest and best room in the hotel. 463 sqft of interior space plus a massive 441 sqft wrap-around private terrace — enough room to dine outdoors and still have space left over. Sitting and dining room separate from the bedroom. Pre-book a Peloton bike if you want it in the room. This is the one to get if budget allows.

Sitting room with sofas and large dining table, separate bedroom, and a good-sized private terrace with views toward the city. Furnished with a mix of bespoke and vintage pieces — much more apartment than hotel room.

Diggers Dozen spin off-the-radar jazz-laced, disco-funk and killer vinyl records every Friday and Saturday night in the basement at Seed Library.
Kaso Rooftop hosts DJ nights every Friday and Saturday from 8pm until late. Music drifts from sultry house to Balearic sounds. Regular Kaso Sounds Presents nights feature guest DJs including collaborations with Netil Radio.
DJs spin in the Lobby Bar every Thursday and Friday evening. A relaxed, casual entry point into the hotel's music programming.
