Leflaive Hôtel Restaurant
Family-run Burgundian wine estate turned boutique hotel. Exposed stone, aged beams, and wooden floors anchor the building's bones, while Art Deco and Art Nouveau touches add flair. Each of the 17 rooms is named after and styled around a different Leflaive family member, giving it the feel of a well-curated private home rather than a uniform hotel.

Why It Matters
Owned and operated by Maison Olivier Leflaive, a leading Côte de Beaune négociant commanding 80 appellations. The hotel sits in a UNESCO World Heritage wine landscape (the Burgundy Climats) and won the 2019 Wine Tourism Awards. Both restaurants — the casual wine-tasting Bistro d'Olivier and the fine-dining KLIMA — are recognized in the Michelin Guide. There is simply no better-located base for serious Burgundy wine tourism.
A 4-star winemaker's hotel in the very village that put white Burgundy on the map. The 17th-century stone building sits right on Puligny-Montrachet's village square, and the whole operation — 17 individually named rooms, two restaurants, a marble bar, and a full slate of wine tourism activities — runs as an extension of Maison Olivier Leflaive, one of the Côte de Beaune's most respected négociants. This isn't a hotel that happens to have a wine list. Wine is the entire point.
