Nina Trulli Resort
Rural luxury with serious restraint. No fuss, no performance. Stone architecture, natural materials, minimal decor, and a staff that delivers genuinely warm hospitality without any stuffiness. Think monastic calm meets thoughtful gastronomy.
Arrive at sunset: the sky turns peach over the white trulli and the views stretch for miles
Why It Matters
One of very few places where you can sleep inside a genuine centuries-old trullo that has been restored with real architectural care — not a theme-park version. The in-house Orto restaurant adds a destination-dining dimension that makes this more than just a pretty place to sleep. Listed in both the Michelin Guide and Tablet Hotels.
A cluster of centuries-old trulli in the Valle d'Itria countryside between Monopoli and the Adriatic, about 5 km from the sea. Once a working masseria — and before that, a country monastery — the property has been carefully restored into a seven-room retreat where the entire ethos is built around slowness: stone walls, open skies, seasonal cooking, and silence. Two restaurants on-site, including Orto, a 12-seat plant-based fine dining room that draws guests who aren't even staying.
