Why It Matters
First UK nhow property, and one of the more committed design hotels in East London. Listed in The Times Best Hotels in London 2020. The 160-seat Guilty London restaurant has its own independent brand and resident DJ, and is open to the public — not just hotel guests. The 79 m² penthouse with a freestanding bath and private plant-filled terrace is one of London's more distinctive top rooms.
nhow London is a four-star design hotel that opened in 2019 on the triangle of Shoreditch, Islington, and Hoxton. Designed by Project Orange, the interiors go full punk-royal: graffiti art, neon signs, Union Jack chairs, a Big Ben rocket in the lobby, and almost 200 rooms each with a life-size Notting Hill-style front door. The art throughout is curated by local Shoreditch institution Jealous Gallery.

The premium equivalent of the Deluxe Superior — 25–27 m² with a king bed and proper street views through floor-to-ceiling windows. The best non-suite option if you want light, a view, and a king bed.

Same 20–28 m² footprint as the standard Superior, but with the key upgrade: views. Floor-to-ceiling windows look out over the street below rather than the courtyard. Available as king, queen, or twin. Good for people watchers.
King, Queen, or Twin · 24 sqmnhow Penthouse
The headline room at 79 m². A plant-filled, floral-themed private oasis on the top floor — a deliberate contrast to the punk energy of the rest of the hotel. Separate bedroom, living room, dining table, and a large bathroom anchored by a freestanding bath. Also has a king bed, espresso machine, and rain-effect shower. One of the more distinctive top rooms in East London.
King · 79 sqmnhow Premium Room
A step up from the Superior — same footprint (25–27 m²) but with a king bed. The real difference is the upgrade to a king mattress and slightly more curated room touches. Good choice for couples who want the extra bed space without paying suite money.

At 47 m², these seven suites genuinely feel spacious compared to most central London flats. There's a separate living room with a corner sofa, a royal-themed bathroom with both a bath and a separate shower, views over Islington, and an espresso machine in the room. Seven of these suites exist in the hotel.

The entry-level room, and compact by London standards at 20–28 m². That said, the design work makes every inch count — queen bed, rain-effect shower, bathrobe, kettle, large flat-screen TV. Can be configured as twin on request. Views are typically over the hotel courtyard.
