NH Collection Alagna Mirtillo Rosso
Walser-inspired eco-alpine; warm and family-forward without being cutesy. Think natural wood everywhere, open-plan light-filled communal spaces, and a genuine outdoor-activity culture. Adults get their own spa zone; kids get their own club. It's structured for families but not overwhelming for couples.

Why It Matters
One of very few upscale, fully-serviced family hotels in the Italian Alps with two separate spa zones (adult-only 300 sqm + family). Sits directly at the gateway to the Monterosa Ski area's 160 km of pistes linking three valleys — Valsesia, Gressoney, and Champoluc. Originally an independent family hotel (Hotel Mirtillo Rosso), it joined the NH Collection brand in 2025 after renovation.
A 56-room family-focused alpine hotel at the foot of Monte Rosa — the second-highest peak in the Alps — purpose-built around the Walser architectural tradition of natural timber, stone, and glass. The building uses eco-friendly materials and floor-to-ceiling windows to put the massif front and center from almost every angle. It reopened in late November 2025 following a full renovation under the NH Collection brand.
