Nest & Nature is a completely off-grid eco-luxury retreat perched at one of the highest points on South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula, about an hour's drive from Adelaide. The whole property is just three accommodation options — two architecturally designed suites (Nest and Mist) and an eco-glamping cabin (Eagles View) — all sitting atop 240 acres of heritage-listed native bushland. Floor-to-ceiling double-glazed windows frame sweeping views across the Inman Valley to Encounter Bay and the Southern Ocean. Kangaroos, black cockatoos, and tame alpacas are regular visitors.

Eagles View
A more affordable entry point on the same 240-acre property. Eagles View is an off-grid glamping cabin perched high with views across Encounter Bay and down the Inman Valley. It's stylishly appointed but noticeably a step below the Nest and Mist suites — modern ensuite bathroom and a well-equipped kitchenette, but without the floor-to-ceiling glass, stone baths, or the same level of finish. Still completely private and off-grid. Finalist for Best Unique Stay at the 2021 Airbnb Host Awards in Australia.
Mist Suite
Mist sits about 150 metres down the hill from Nest, tucked into a thicket of trees on the hillside. The bush setting frames the valley views rather than fully exposing them — a slightly more sheltered, intimate feel compared to Nest's wide-open panorama. Internally identical to Nest: 64sqm open-plan layout with king bed, indoor stone bath, wood-burning fireplace, and the full suite of inclusions. The outdoor terrace configuration differs slightly, but both the firepit and outdoor sunken bath are present.

The higher of the two suites, Nest sits at the top of the hill delivering the widest, most open panoramic views across the Inman Valley and all the way to Encounter Bay and the Southern Ocean. Same 64sqm open-plan layout as Mist: king bed, indoor stone bath with picture window, well-equipped kitchen (induction hob, no oven), open living/dining area, and a wood-burning fireplace. Step outside and there's a sheltered alfresco deck with built-in BBQ, a terraced firepit, and a spacious outdoor sunken bath. Automated blackout blinds, Jam Factory bespoke furniture, and Aesop toiletries throughout.

The property and surrounding bushland host a variety of native bird species including black cockatoos. Binoculars are provided in each suite to enhance the experience.
The full 240-acre heritage-listed native bushland property is open to guests to explore on foot. Kangaroos, koalas, black cockatoos, and tame alpacas are regular sightings. No set trails — just open land.
The property functions naturally as a wildlife hide. Kangaroos, koalas, black cockatoos, and tame alpacas roam the grounds. Binoculars are provided in each suite.
The outdoor sunken bath on the private terrace, adjacent to the firepit, is the go-to spot for stargazing. No light pollution. The view is open sky above and valley below.
A curated wine experience at Yangarra Estate, a celebrated McLaren Vale winery known for its Rhône-style varieties, available as a bookable experience for Nest & Nature guests. Details bookable through the property.
Complimentary yoga mats are provided in each suite. The valley view from the terrace makes for a remarkable practice setting. Private guided yoga for two is also available as a paid add-on via the in-house wellbeing provider.
