Nelya Suites is a former private family vacation home on the caldera cliffs of Megalochori — the name itself is a blend of Nefeli and Lydia, the two daughters of the family who built it. Open to guests since May 2022, the property has just three suites and a standalone villa, all done in crisp white Cycladic minimalism with turquoise and aquamarine accents, built-in Aegean-style furniture, and every unit getting its own private jacuzzi or jet pool with unobstructed caldera views. The hotel sits only 4.5 km from Fira and 7 km from the airport — easy to reach, but it feels genuinely apart from the tourist hordes.
