Carved into the caldera cliffs at the southern edge of Oia, Mystique is 41 cave-style suites and villas stacked down a volcanic cliff face with unobstructed Aegean and volcano views from every single room. It opened in 2007, created by the Eliopoulos family through Empiria Group, and has been part of Marriott's Luxury Collection ever since. The design by nature-inspired decorator Frank Lefebvre uses driftwood, linen, pebbles and locally quarried limestone — nothing shiny or imported-looking. Adults only (14+), seasonal (roughly mid-April to early November), and frankly one of the harder Santorini properties to fault on the view front.
