Mylos
Mineral, slow-living boutique. Architect-designed with a Corsican-Greek soul. Think artisan textures, warm ochre walls, and a deeply relaxed pace rather than a flashy resort.

Why It Matters
One of Corsica's newest design-forward hotels (opened 2025), collaborating two acclaimed studios — Orma Architettura and Dorothée Meilichzon's Chzon agency. The site-sourced concrete and green roofs make it an unusually thoughtful piece of architecture for the island. Chef Pierre Geronimi's Teos restaurant, with its ouzo-inflected desserts and seasonal fish dishes, is open to non-guests and is already drawing attention.
Mylos takes its name from the old stone mill that still stands over the property — a nod to Cargèse's Hellenic heritage, where Greek families from the Peloponnese settled in the 17th century. Designed by Corsican firm Orma Architettura and decorated by Parisian interior designer Dorothée Meilichzon, the hotel uses earth-formed concrete sourced directly from the site, green roofs, and fragmented volumes that read as part of the hillside rather than imposed on it. Inside, Meilichzon's signature tactile world plays out in rounded arches, handmade ceramics, raw linen, and an earthy ochre palette. The 34 rooms are small by luxury standards — the entry-level U Paisolu tops out at 20 m² — but the panoramic sea views and the quality of materials make up for it.

On Property
How you'll actually spend your days.
Cycling is available in and around Cargèse. The west coast road and maquis-covered hills offer varied routes.
The Mare a Mare Nord trail passes through the area. Hotel is a short walk from the village, which connects to Corsica's network of coastal and mountain hiking trails.
Pétanque court on the terrace, played under reed canopies with sea views in the background. A proper Mediterranean ritual at aperitif hour.
A cave-carved indoor pool heated to 30°C, open year-round. The vibe is genuinely mineral and meditative — more like a thermal grotto than a standard hotel pool. One of the best reasons to visit in winter.
Panoramic outdoor pool on the hillside with unobstructed sea views. Seasonal — open during warmer months. Orientated to catch the sunset light across the Mediterranean.
