Philippe Starck, entrepreneur Michel Reybier, and philosopher-turned-hotelier Cyril Aouizerate (the man behind Mama Shelter) teamed up to build something genuinely unusual: a 4-star eco-conscious hotel in Saint-Ouen that doubles as a live/work retreat. The concept is a 3-in-1 room — bed, private office, and meeting space all in one — plus one of the very few outdoor pools in greater Paris. Materials throughout are obsessively natural: wall paint mixed from straw and clay, rice-straw headboards, artisanal Beaujolais ceramics, marble, concrete, and parquet. B Corp certified.
