One of Barcelona's most storied addresses, fully reimagined for the first time in a century. The Valmont Red Carpet Spa is one of only a select few globally to offer Valmont's signature Red Carpet treatment. The Florida Lounge by Lladró — a permanent installation featuring Jaime Hayon and Marcel Wanders pieces — turns the lobby into a working gallery. Views stretch from Sagrada Família spires all the way to the Barceloneta coastline.
A century-old landmark on top of Tibidabo hill, METT Barcelona is where urban hotel and mountain resort blur into one. The building started life in 1925 as the Gran Hotel La Florida — a Noucentisme masterpiece by architect Ramón Raventós — and has hosted everyone from Hemingway to Obama. Sunset Hospitality Group reopened it on September 1, 2025 after a comprehensive £15 million renovation, preserving the cream stone facade and arched windows while completely overhauling the interiors. Seventy rooms and suites now wear a Mediterranean palette of pale wood, soft cream fabrics, and natural textures, and the whole operation is 15 minutes from the city center but feels genuinely removed from it.
