Why It Matters
The only hotel in the world with both its exterior and interior entirely conceived by Zaha Hadid. The Opus building's void-carved cube is instantly recognisable on Dubai's skyline. Awarded a MICHELIN Key (2025) and listed on the Condé Nast Traveller Hot List (2021). Nine restaurants including ROKA and a Maison Dali led by three-Michelin-starred chef Tristin Farmer.
ME Dubai is the only hotel in the world entirely designed by Zaha Hadid — not just the building, but every single interior space too. It sits inside The Opus, a giant mirrored cube in Business Bay with a dramatic void carved through its middle. The hotel opened in March 2020 and occupies four floors, housing 93 rooms and suites split between two design languages: deep midnight blue (urban night) and warm desert gold. Nine restaurants and bars, a rooftop pool, a 260 sqm gym, a spa on the fourth floor, and a rolling programme of art exhibitions make this one of the most design-forward hotels in the Gulf. In 2025, the Michelin Guide awarded it One Key.
