One of a small number of genuine church-conversion hotels in Belgium. The choir of the old church doubles as the breakfast room, with guests eating in front of the altar under stone vaults. A 19th-century neo-Gothic convent that opened as a hotel in 2009. The building dates to 1863 and has 79 rooms split between two distinct sections: the quieter former monastery (cloister), and the showstopping church itself — complete with stone vaults, pointed arches, and stained-glass windows. Standard rooms are fine. But the church-section rooms are something else entirely. Breakfast is served beneath the altar of the old choir each morning, with a glass of cava included.
