Why It Matters
Long-standing icon of the Basque Coast now fully reimagined by the Annie Famose Group — the same hospitality group behind Talaia Hotel & Spa MGallery Biarritz. Fully renovated in 2025 under the Annie Famose Group, Maison Chiberta is a 4-star spa hotel in Anglet sitting right on the edge of the historic Chiberta golf course, with the Atlantic beaches less than 10 minutes on foot. The renovation kept the building's signature arches and added a glass-roofed Mediterranean patio, 58 redesigned rooms mixing raw materials and vintage furniture, a fire-cooking restaurant by celebrity chef Juan Arbelaez, and a 300 m² L:A Bruket spa. It's one of the best-known addresses on the Basque Coast — and it's in genuinely better shape than it's been in decades.
