Named for the pseudonym of Art Deco poster giant Adolphe Jean-Marie Mouron — known as Cassandre — this 4-star boutique hotel is a deliberate, well-executed tribute to 1930s Paris. The interiors were designed by the Maison Numéro 20 studio: wood marquetry wallpapers, macassar ebony furniture, Murano-inspired lighting, brass accents, and subdued lighting throughout. Thirty-seven rooms, one suite, a hidden patio, and a cosy honesty bar called Le Boudoir des Gourmets. That's pretty much it — and it works.
