A design hotel plunked down in the Kamptal vineyards of Lower Austria, the LOISIUM Langenlois is the work of American architect Steven Holl — and it looks like nothing else in the region. Cork-shaped lamps, wine-colored corridors, 112 rooms split between the Veltliner House and Pinot House, and a 1,200 m² spa that takes vinotherapy seriously. The adjacent LOISIUM WineWorld, with its 900-year-old cellars, is right next door.

Numerous cycling routes radiate out through the vineyard hills and Kamptal valley from the hotel. The hotel offers bike rental (including wheel trainer for indoor biking) and a half-day bike rental is included in some spa membership tiers.
