Garraf station is a few hundred metres from the hotel — catch the R2 Sud line from Passeig de Gràcia for about €4 and 30 minutes. Far cheaper than a taxi (~€50 from the airport).

Why It Matters

Michelin-key awarded. Soho House's first coastal property in Spain, and one of the few Soho House locations where staying as a non-member is possible (with a Soho Friends membership added at €140). Private beach access for guests only. Seasonal property — only open April through October.

A restored 1950s seafront hotel turned Soho House members' club, sitting directly on the 350-metre beach of Garraf, a small Catalan fishing village 20km south of Barcelona. Just 17 rooms, three distinct dining spots, a small outdoor Cowshed Spa, and a rooftop with views over the Mediterranean. It occupies the former Hotel Quim, and Soho House left just enough of the original bones intact — the wooden bar replicated from the 1950s original, the split-level architecture, the green-and-white stucco facade that mirrors the candy-striped beach huts lining the shore. The rest is pure Soho House: rattan furniture, sage and mustard colour palettes, tapestries by Brooklyn-based artist Maryanne Moodie, Marshall speakers on every nightstand.

Where You'll Stay

6 room types available

Beach Studio

Beach Studio

The only room in the house that earns the word 'spacious' without qualification. Split over two floors with an exposed wood-beam ceiling, a proper living area, and two private sea-facing terraces — one with sun loungers, one with a table and chairs. The freestanding bath on the terrace sealed its reputation. At 68 sqm it's nearly triple the size of the standard rooms.

Small Sea View

Step up to a sea-facing room and you get a balcony with table and chairs — ideal for a morning coffee watching the Mediterranean. Rooms are compact but well-edited. The view does the heavy lifting. Many guests say you can hear the waves from bed, which either sounds wonderful or terrible depending on who you are.

Small Sea View Plus

Two extra square metres over the Small Sea View, plus a seating area inside — enough space to feel like you have somewhere to be other than the bed. Still has the sea-view balcony. A good middle ground if the Beach Studio is out of budget.

Small Sea View Terrace

Small Sea View Terrace

Same size as the standard sea view rooms, but the terrace is notably more generous — and it comes with a freestanding bath positioned to face the ocean. On paper it sounds like a gimmick; in practice it's one of the more memorable things you can do at this property.

Small Street View
Standard

Small Street View

The entry-level room, and honestly the smallest option in a house where nothing is very large. Faces the street rather than the sea, which keeps the price down. Interiors mirror the rest of the house — triangular red-and-white tile floors, Maryanne Moodie wall tapestry, custom ceramic lamp by a Barcelona-based maker. Good for light sleepers who want the ambience without the early morning wave noise.

Small Street View Terrace
Standard with terrace

Small Street View Terrace

Same square footage as the entry room, but with a private terrace finished in Spanish-patterned tile flooring. The standout detail: a freestanding bath on the terrace itself. Street-facing, so no sea views, but the terrace bath makes it feel far more indulgent than the room size suggests.
