Links House is Scotland's most northerly luxury hotel — a 15-room country house that opened in 2013 inside a Free Church of Scotland Manse dating to 1843, built in distinctive Sutherland sandstone. The first tee at Royal Dornoch Golf Club is less than 100 yards from the front door; that proximity is the whole point. But even if you don't play golf, the place holds its own: the 2 AA Rosette MARA restaurant, excellent Highlands itinerary programming, and genuinely warm Scottish hospitality make it worth the drive north.

Glenshiel Master Suites
The largest suites in the property, housed in the purpose-built Glenshiel building. Individually finished in tasteful tartans and plaids, with carefully curated period art and antiques. Bespoke cabinetry handles even the heaviest over-packer. Quiet moments between rounds can be spent in Glenshiel's cosy Anteroom, which comes with a well-stocked honesty bar and plenty of books. Five suites total; the building can be taken on an exclusive-use basis.

On the ground floor of Mews House, the Laxford is the most accessible option on the property. Fully equipped kitchen, living room, and bedroom. Main House Rooms
Located in the original 1843 Manse House, these are the entry-level rooms — though 'entry-level' is relative. Views look out over Glenshiel, the private putting green, Mews House, or across to the Dornoch Firth. Available in double or twin configuration. Mews Junior Suites
Across the putting green from the Main House, these suites step up in size and feel. Earth tones, tartan touches, bespoke cabinetry built for bulky outdoor gear.
