Two 15th-century priory buildings — Santa Anna and San Léon — sit quietly in the village of Maussane-les-Alpilles, a short drive from Arles and a stone's throw from Les Baux-de-Provence. The owners of L'Hôtel Particulier in Arles built out this Provençal counterpart, keeping all the same signature aesthetic: pale grey waxed concrete floors, wood-beamed ceilings, thick stone walls with curving archways, marble fireplaces, and antique furnishings. Each house has just five rooms or suites, all overlooking either the manicured garden or the stone-lined pool.
