Why It Matters
Opened in 2025 as Hungary's largest premium spa hotel, it earned a Michelin Recommendation and 2 Gault&Millau Toques in its very first year. The Eden SPA draws thermal water from its own private spring — a rarity — and the women-only sauna wing and Hungary's sole snow cabin are genuine talking points. Penthouse suites on the top floor come with private rooftop gardens and exclusive access to the infinity pool.
Hungary's largest five-star superior spa hotel, opened May 2025 after a HUF 34 billion (EUR 84 million) build on a 3.4-hectare site bordering a protected nature reserve in Hévíz. The six-story structure draws from the textures and muted palette of the surrounding landscape — bold in scale but restrained in finish. Inside it's all about the water: thermal pools fed directly from the hotel's own Hévíz spring, a 1,000 m² sauna world split into three separate wings, and a rooftop gourmet restaurant with treetop views.
