Why It Matters
Opened April 2025 as the fourth Le Petit Pali and the 21st property in the Palisociety portfolio. It is the Michelin Guide-listed, most affordable luxury option in the immediate Laguna Beach strip — right across from the Montage — and delivers a genuinely boutique experience without the resort price tag. The champagne breakfast, nightly cookie delivery from Rye Goods bakery, Diptyque amenities, and Grind espresso machines all punch well above the price point.
A 1950s roadside motel reborn as one of Southern California's sharpest boutique stays. Palisociety founder Avi Brosh took what was the original Laguna Beach Lodge, kept the distinctive sloping roofline, and layered in toile, ticking stripes, grass-cloth wallpaper, and a lobby bar that does double duty as a breakfast room and cocktail lounge. Forty-one rooms across two stories, priced from around $230 to $600 a night — a fraction of what the Montage directly across the street charges for a standard room.
