Le Lappe
Antique Florentine farmhouse fantasy meets understated luxury. Rooms are individually hand-painted by Florentine artist Francesca Guicciardini, furnished with antique and artisan pieces, and named after the trees and shrubs growing on the estate. The tone is quiet, romantic, and deeply tied to the land.

Why It Matters
Holds the Quality Mark of the Italian Register of Historic Houses of Excellence. Listed on the Michelin Guide and Tablet Hotels. The estate produces its own PGI-certified organic extra virgin olive oil and operates its own beehives. Stargazing is a signature activity: the property sits far from any light pollution and offers guided sessions.
Le Lappe is an 11-suite relais spread across two restored stone farmhouses in the Chianti hills between Florence and Arezzo, at around 620 metres altitude. The estate traces its origins to around 1000 AD and was painstakingly restored by owner Maria Lorenza Benini between the 1990s and 2010. Ten of the eleven suites have working stone fireplaces and hydromassage tubs; the restaurant cooks with km-0 ingredients and the estate's own organic olive oil from over 3,000 trees.
