Why It Matters
One of only two 5-star hotels in the Pyrénées-Orientales department. Chef Frédéric Bacquié has held a Michelin star for over 10 years at on-site L'Almandin, cooking almost exclusively with local Catalan and Roussillon producers. Comfort Room
The entry-level option and, at 22m², the most compact in the house. That said, they're warm and well-finished — soft tones, a proper double or twin configuration, and a furnished terrace. Accessible to guests with reduced mobility.

A step up in space and outlook. At 30m², these rooms in the main building look out over the lagoon or the peninsula — genuinely lovely water views. The Riva yacht design language — warm wood panels, white leather accents — is at its most coherent here.

A Catalan farmhouse (mas) entirely renovated in Mediterranean style, located a few kilometres from the main hotel and 1km from Saint-Cyprien beach. Sleeps up to 14 people across 7 bedrooms in two separate houses, with 2 fully equipped kitchens, large living areas, a swimming pool, and a landscaped park with pétanque, basketball, and darts. Perfect for large family or group bookings.
Presqu'île Gardens
Located in the villa annex on the Presqu'île peninsula. These sleep up to four and come with a private garden and Jacuzzi — good for families or couples who want outdoor space. The vibe is Hamptons-relaxed rather than formal.

Forty-five square metres on the Presqu'île peninsula with a private terrace and Jacuzzi. Great for couples who want outdoor seclusion — the terrace faces the water and the views are strong.

How you'll actually spend your days.
The hotel runs a regular boat shuttle from its pontoon to the main Saint-Cyprien beach, about 1.5km away. The only way to feel like you're arriving at a beach by private transfer without the private-jet budget.
The Les Capellans quarter has shaded tree-lined alleys ideal for morning runs or bike rides. Bikes can be arranged through the hotel.
A 27-hole course a few minutes from the hotel. One of the better golf setups on the Roussillon coast.
Every first Sunday of the month, L'Almandin opens for a refined all-you-can-eat brunch: seasonal hot dishes, eggs cooked to order, sweet and savoury buffet, all with a sommelier's wine selection served by the glass. Children under 12 pay 50% discount.
The hotel's own boat, with a skipper, takes guests along the coast to rocky coves and wild stretches of shoreline. Can be paired with a packed picnic basket from the kitchen. The quintessential Île de la Lagune experience.
