Why It Matters

Lanson Place Causeway Bay reopened in March 2024 after a 16-month top-to-bottom redesign by acclaimed French interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon. The result is 188 rooms, suites, and penthouses spread across 28 floors, all done in soft tones with floor-to-ceiling windows and marble bathrooms. It feels more like a very good residential building than a conventional hotel — quiet, light-filled, and genuinely calm in a neighbourhood that is anything but.
