Landgoed de Holtweijde is a 13-hectare country estate in the Twente region of Overijssel, sitting quietly near the village of Lattrop — a stone's throw from the German border. It runs 77 luxury suites spread between the main hotel building, standalone landhuizen (estate houses), and freestanding cottages set among the trees. The restaurant, 't Spieck, holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand and draws guests in its own right with modern French-regional cooking under chef Berry Thuss. The Health & Wellness Centre adds a 20-metre indoor pool, saunas, and a full treatment menu that makes it genuinely self-contained.

The most unique room on the estate. Hidden between the trees on its own forest plot, De Bosuil is a compact but very private retreat — just 24 sqm with a comfortable bed, shower, toilet, pantry, and its own outdoor fireplace. The private terrace delivers 180° views over the meadows. No WiFi (the only room on the estate without it). Maximum 2 guests. Ideal for a romantic escape or serious unplugging.

Ground-floor estate suite in the landhuis buildings, with direct access from the living area straight onto your private garden terrace. Cosy fireplace inside. Walk straight out into the quiet of the estate grounds. Dogs are welcome. Cot available.

Generously sized at 60 sqm with a separate sleeping and sitting area — sometimes divided by double doors, depending on the specific room. Some have air conditioning, some have a fireplace.
