Lagació is a 26-suite eco-boutique hotel at 1,500m in the Dolomite village of San Cassiano, run by owners Pio and Margareth Canins. Architecture built from local larch, spruce, Swiss pine, slate, and linen — materials that genuinely belong here. Here is the thing: there's no dinner restaurant on purpose. The hotel sits a short walk from some of Alta Badia's best dining, including two Michelin-starred St Hubertus, so it leans into self-catering suites with full kitchenettes instead.

The flagship suite. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a Kneipp shower set this apart. A leather-upholstered bed in the master, an open fireplace in the living room, a large terrace with a four-person kitchen table, and bunk beds in the second bedroom. Sleeps up to five.
King + Bunk beds
Bellerophon Suite
The go-to for couples and honeymooners. A terrace runs the full length of the apartment, facing directly onto the Lagazuoi mountain range. Still sleeps two as standard with the option of an additional bed.

Claraia Suite
East-facing suite praised for its sleek couch positioned to frame stunning Dolomite views. Two bedrooms make it suitable for small families or a couple wanting a separate sitting room. Sleeps 2–3.
