A 1930s neo-Basque hunting lodge at the foot of Europe's highest sand dune, redesigned from the ground up by Philippe Starck in 2010. The result is 29 rooms split between the original dark-wood main house and a cluster of oyster-farmer-style cabins perched above the pines.
