L'Apogée Courchevel
Alpine palatial luxury with a genuine skier-first philosophy. Interiors lean into warmth over grandeur — rich fabrics, wool plaids, luxuriant furs, and Fior di Bosco marble bathrooms. The 2025/26 Kelly Wearstler redesign of the public areas layers in bolder deep greens, ochre, and fireplace red with local stone and crafted wood. Feels like an exceptionally well-staffed private mountain home, not a convention hotel.

Why It Matters
One of the highest-positioned luxury hotels in Courchevel 1850, perched on the old Olympic ski jump site. Part of the elite Oetker Hotels portfolio alongside Le Bristol Paris and Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc. The hotel runs a 40-metre private magic carpet lift directly from the ski room to the Jardin Alpin slope. The La Prairie spa is built entirely underground. Claims the largest kids' club in all of Courchevel.
L'Apogée Courchevel sits at the very top of Courchevel 1850's exclusive Jardin Alpin quarter, literally built on a former Olympic ski jump. Open only during ski season (December to late March), it holds France's official Palace designation — the country's highest hotel classification. The hotel opened in December 2013 and now enters its 12th season with freshly redesigned dining spaces by Californian designer Kelly Wearstler, plus Beefbar as the headline restaurant. For the 2025/26 season the hotel runs from December 12, 2025 to March 29, 2026.
