L'Acquale sits on the hillside just above Calvi's bay, looking straight out to the Genoese citadel, the sea, and the Monte Grossu mountain range. The Acquaviva family runs it — the name itself traces back to a mountain hamlet called Acquale in the Niolu region. Fully renovated in 2020, the 44-room hotel blends stone, raw wood, and natural fabrics in a contemporary design that feels grounded rather than generic. The beach is 500 metres away; the marina and old town are a 10-15 minute walk downhill.
